Description:

NH2-PEG-MAL is one of heterobifunctionalpolyethylene glycol crosslinkers that contain a thiol reactive maleimide group anda reactive primary amine group. Maleimide reacts readily with thiol groups atpH 6.5~7.5 to form a stable thioether bond while amine group can react with carboxyl,NHS and many other groups. PEG linked maleimide amine crosslinkers have goodwater solubility and are easy to use. All Pegylation or crosslinking reactionscan be carried out in aqueous buffer without need adding any organic solvents.
