Description:

HS-PEG-SH is one of homobifunctional PEG derivatives with free thiol group on each terminusof the PEG. Thiols can react with a number of thiol reactive groups such asmaleimide, iodoacetamide, pyridyldisulfide, etc. Thiol group also has highbinding affinity to noble metal surface, such as gold and silver. Therefore,thiolated PEG can be used for gold or silver particle surface modification.
