Description:

NH2-PEG-SH is oneof heterobifunctionalpolyethylene glycol pegylation reagents that contain a thiol and a primaryamine group on each PEG terminus. Amine functional PEG thiol reacts readilywith amine reactive groups, such as carboxyl, aldehyde, and NHS to form stablecovalent bonds. Thiol groups, on the other hand, can be used for metal surfacebinding and other chemical reactions. PEG linker between thiol and amine groupsoffers better water solubility, flexible linker distance and enhancedstability. These bifunctional thiol PEG amines are useful for the modificationof proteins, antibodies, peptides, gold nanoparticles and many other materials.
